Following the successful conclusion of The 1st Chinese Conference on Familial Hypercholesterolemia on September 20, FH China Patient Network thoughtfully planned a warm and heartfelt city tour of Wuhan on September 21 for the patients and their families who had traveled from afar.

This was not just an ordinary trip, but a journey of emotional connection—a warm gathering for our extended family.

We are each other's most reliable "travel companions."

Ascend the Yellow Crane Tower, Enjoy the Scenery of Jiangcheng.

At 9:00 a.m., the coach bus set off on time for the first destination of the trip—the Yellow Crane Tower. As the professional guide delivered an engaging commentary, everyone slowly entered this historic landmark, listening intently to the rich stories and cultural heritage embedded in the murals. Reaching the top floor and gazing into the distance, the magnificent panorama of Wuhan’s three towns and the mighty flow of the Yangtze River unfolded before their eyes, filling hearts with joy and awe.

"Come on, the view is great here, take a photo for us!"

Everyone paused, searching for the perfect angle, capturing unforgettable moments through the lens. Amid laughter and cheerful voices, smiling faces blended with the upturned eaves of the Yellow Crane Tower and the misty river in the distance—warm, vivid, and alive—becoming the first vibrant memory of the journey.

Strolling Along the Yangtze River, Feeling the Pulse of the Times.

The second stop brought everyone to the side of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. With the autumn breeze gently brushing their faces, the group leaned on the railing, gazing out at the endless flow of the river and the steady stream of traffic crossing the bridge.

Amid laughter and joy, the camera clicked again and again—capturing side-by-side silhouettes gazing into the distance, strands of hair lifted by the river wind, and especially radiant smiles under the autumn sun. In this moment, the scenery and the mood alike became a warm page in each other's memories.

Savoring Authentic Delicacies, Tasting the Flavors of Chu.

At noon, everyone gathered at a specialty restaurant to enjoy authentic Wuhan cuisine. One by one, carefully prepared dishes of local flavors delighted their palates, offering not just a feast for the taste buds, but also a deeper appreciation of Wuhan’s rich culinary culture. Laughter and cheerful conversation filled the air throughout the meal, and with every shared dish, the bonds between them grew even stronger.

Visit the Provincial Museum's Treasures, Tracing Back a Thousand Years of Civilization.

The afternoon’s itinerary took everyone to the Hubei Provincial Museum. Guided by a professional docent, the group visited iconic treasures such as the Sword of King Goujian of Yue and the Zeng Houyi Bells. Through these precious artifacts, it felt as though they were traveling through time, engaging in a profound dialogue with the brilliant Chu culture. Each person listened attentively, frequently murmuring in awe, deeply proud of the richness and profundity of Chinese civilization.

Warm Companionship, Looking Forward to Reuniting.

As the sun set, the day’s journey came to a perfect close. On the return trip, though tired, everyone’s eyes still sparkled with joy. Soft conversations filled the bus as participants shared their feelings and takeaways from the day. Exchanging contact information, they quietly made promises to meet again—seeds of reunion already planted in their hearts.

This journey allowed us not only to experience the beauty of Wuhan, but also brought our big family even closer together.
